Ballooning!We first got the idea for taking a balloon ride while we were in the Burgundy region. We found an advertisement for a company that gives morning and evening rides and we thought it sounded like a lot of fun. Unfortunately, we couldn't get an appointment that would fit our schedule since we were only in Burgundy for 2 days.We decided to check the Internet and see if we could find a company running balloons somewhere closer to Paris. We found a company called "France Montgolfieres" and booked a flight for Tuesday evening 9/11. The pilot was from Switzerland, and spoke both English and French. The setup took about 30 minutes, the flight about 1 hour, and the take-down and Champagne toast took about 45min. I think this was probably the best thing we did during the entire trip.
