France 2001
Here are the pictures from our Trip to France. Thanks for dropping by.

Le Mans

On our way to the Loire Valley, we stopped at in a city called Le Mans - well known for the auto race that is held there every year. Le Mans was also the staging place for allied forces before they marched in to liberate Paris from the Germans.

Le Mans also happens to be where Tami's French tutor, Pierre, was born.

Cathedral — This Cathedral is the dominating landmark in the old town section of Le Mans.

Old Town —We stopped in the new part of the city for lunch, then walked over to the old section of town and looked at the stone buildings and cobblestone streets. The flower arrangement shows a typical small round-about. It was very common to have flowers on every corner, and in every window.
